Sermon Description

Ps 128:1-6

  • 1 Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
  • 2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.
  • 3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy children like olive plants round about thy table.
  • 4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the Lord.
  • 5 The Lord shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.
  • 6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel.

Eph 1:15-20

  • 15 Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints,
  • 16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
  • 17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:
  • 18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,
  • 19 And what is the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to the working of his mighty power,
  • 20 Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set him at his own right hand in the heavenly places,

Num 6:22-26

  • 22 And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
  • 23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
  • 24 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
  • 25 The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
  • 26 The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.

2Thess 3:5-16

  • 5 And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
  • 6 Now we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye withdraw yourselves from every brother that walketh disorderly, and not after the tradition which he received of us.
  • 7 For yourselves know how ye ought to follow us: for we behaved not ourselves disorderly among you;
  • 8 Neither did we eat any man's bread for nought; but wrought with labour and travail night and day, that we might not be chargeable to any of you:
  • 9 Not because we have not power, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you to follow us.
  • 10 For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat.
  • 11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies.
  • 12 Now them that are such we command and exhort by our Lord Jesus Christ, that with quietness they work, and eat their own bread.
  • 13 But ye, brethren, be not weary in well doing.
  • 14 And if any man obey not our word by this epistle, note that man, and have no company with him, that he may be ashamed.
  • 15 Yet count him not as an enemy, but admonish him as a brother.
  • 16 Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all.

Eph 3:14-21

  • 14 For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
  • 15 Of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named,
  • 16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;
  • 17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,
  • 18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;
  • 19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.
  • 20 Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
  • 21 Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.
